The Dahlkemper School of Business is proud to be the first area institution of higher learning to be awarded national accreditation of its undergraduate and MBA programs by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) at .

In 2020, the Dahlkemper School of Business successfully underwent a rigorous review process leading to a ten-year reaffirmation of its accreditation for all undergraduate programs, its associate degree, and its MBA. The School’s curriculum and its faculty teaching and research productivity were found to be exemplary.

In 2024, ACBSP granted accreditation to the newly created Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees with majors in Accounting, Economics (STEM designated), Finance, Management, Marketing, and Sport Business. The accredited BS degree and its majors replace the former Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree the School of Business awarded.

ACBSP accreditation was the latest in a long line of local and regional firsts for the Dahlkemper School of Business. The Dahlkemper School of Business was the first in the region to have both its undergraduate and graduate business programs accredited by a national accrediting body for business education.

ACBSP accreditation, coupled with the University's existing national and regional accreditations, is an assurance of the Dahlkemper School of Business' academic excellence and program quality. This unique distinction aids prospective students and employers in assessing the reputation of the Dahlkemper School's programs.
