President Iwanenko selected as ‘Top Trailblazer in Higher Education’

³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÆƽâ°æ’s President Dr. Walter Iwanenko is identified as one of Pennsylvania’s top leaders to influence what happens next for higher education in our state.

Iwanenko is named one of the . City & State PA is a multi-media news organization that covers Pennsylvania’s state and local government, including politics and public policy.

As higher education continues to face challenges, Iwanenko has been identified as someone who can make positive change.

“I am incredibly honored to be recognized as a leader for higher education among esteemed colleagues across the Keystone State,” Iwanenko said. “Education is the cornerstone of progress, and together we have the vision, expertise and passion to help overcome the hurdles we face in higher education and pave the way for a brighter future in academia.”

Iwanenko, ³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÆƽâ°æ’s eighth president, assumed his role in July 2023. In his previous role as provost and vice president of student experience, Iwanenko was instrumental in improving the quality of the university’s student experience by merging the academic units with student engagement.
